THURSDAY’S
MINISTRATION.
PASTOR MRS. SUCCESS OYEWOLE.
BIBLE READING: ACTS 2 :
22-26.
Ø Stories
must be told but glory must be seen. Therefore there’s no glory without a
story.
Ø There’s
no crown of glory without the crown on the cross (Acts 2). Whatever you’re
passing through in that story will determine your glory. Your glory is the sum
total of your story. If you’re looking
for Isaac, then be ready to go through what Sarah went through (2 cor 4:17-18).
Ø There
is no crown of glory without a cross. If anyone wants to talk about Jesus’
glory, he must start from his story. No pastor can carry your cross, you must
carry it yourself.
Ø There’s
greater glory coming our way but we must go through the cross. A young person
can have many cloths than an elder but will never have more rags than the elder
that is why we should never despise the wise counsel of an elder. Matthew 5 vs
14-16.
Ø Your
glory is the sum total of your story. “Don’t comment on my glory if you’re not
ready to part take of my story”…you can appreciate the manifestation of God’s
glory, what you’re passing through in your story will determine how your glory
will be. You need to be patient to see God’s manifestation of glory.
Ø Sometimes it is not because we have sinned
that we are not getting some certain things, but because we haven’t gone
through the cross. 2Corinthians 4vs17-18. God will never give you a problem you can’t
handle.
Ø God
is allowing us to go through this story so we would appreciate the glory. For
our affliction is light and our glory is weighty. The things we see are
temporal but the things we don’t see are internal. The word temporal is subject
to change, which means everything we are going through will change for better,
it takes God nothing but just a moment.
1.
Story of your Glory.
·
Another thing you must know is that you
must tell the story of your real birth, I am born of God, shock the Satan with
your internal story, I was blind but now I can see, I was transformed from
darkness to light. Nothing can change the internal story because we are already
seated in heaven with Christ Jesus. There’s time for pain and time for comfort.
God may not change because he can never change but he has capacity to change
your glory. You will see jubilation after that season of tribulation. No comfort without conflict and confrontation.
Isaiah 40vs1-2
·
KEY WORD: YOU EITHER PANIC OR PRAY, YOU
EITHER WORRY OR WAR.
·
When God decides to comfort you, you
will cry because you will go through pain for a while, that is the season of
carry your cross. Romans 8 vs 28-34, our perspectives matters a lot whenever we
are going through problems, no matter our challenges, it cannot change who we
are in Christ Jesus. Then she said “What I wear does not matter it is who wears
me that matters”.
·
Stories must be told but glory must be
seen. Therefore there’s no glory without a story.
·
There’s no crown of glory without the
crown on the cross (Acts 2). Whatever you’re passing through in that story will
determine your glory. Your glory is the sum total of your story. If you’re looking for Isaac, then be ready to
go through what Sarah went through (2 cor 4:17-18)
2. Story of salvation
·
Story of salvation, don’t allow your
present story to override your future story.
·
Born of God, born of the servant of God
and washed in his blood
·
Therefore, your earthly story is not big
enough to stop your eternal glory. God can never change, but he has power to
change any situation whatsoever. Isaiah 40:1-2. Enough is enough. Your
punishment is over. You either worry or war. Romans 8:28. Men may reject you
but God wouldn’t because you’re His child. What I wear doesn’t matter but what
matters is who wears me.
·
Pain signifies that you are still
healthy. So when you are going through pain, just know that you’re still very
much alive.I might be going through some difficult times right now, but I won’t
stuck in it. As a child of God, nothing should push you to go seek for help in
Egypt.
·
Born of God, born of the servant of God
and washed in his blood
·
Therefore, your earthly story is not big
enough to stop your eternal glory. God can never change, but he has power to
change any situation whatsoever.
